According to 225 Magazine’s Matt Sigur, dressing each LSU player on game day isn’t cheap.

Sigur spoke with Tigers equipment manager Greg Stringfellow about how much it costs to put together a uniform for each player, as well as how long it takes during the preseason to get each player acclimated to their specific uniform and equipment.

According to Sigur, players go through four days of uniform training during the preseason and the cost to dress each player ranges as high as $3,000. Here’s a cost breakdown of the average uniform:

Pants: $150
Gloves: $30
Shoulder pads: $300-$500
Jersey: $180
Helmet: $400
Cleats: $100

TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $2,000-$3,000
