The Giants gave up on their Wild Card game before the contest was even over

That's embarrassing.

The Green Bay Packers outhustled, outworked and outmanned the New York Giants in a dominant Wild Card effort that started with a Hail Mary to end the first half.

But it was in the fourth quarter, with under seven minutes to go and New York trailing by 18 when the Giants really gave up.

Linebacker Clay Matthews stripped quarterback Eli Manning of the ball, only for it to sputter toward rookie running back Paul Perkins.

Not realizing the ball was still live, Perkins casually picked the ball up only to be trucked over by Matthews.

The unaware, lazy play by the Giants opened the door for the Packers to waltz out of Green Bay with the win and toward a matchup with the Dallas next week.
