NFL Insider Adam Caplan is the latest to be served his walking papers from ESPN amid the massive layoffs stemming from millions lost due primarily to cable-cutters.

Here’s full text from the tweet:

Special thanks to: @AdamSchefter for recommending me for the job in 2013, @tunaweasel believing in me, @camboespn for his guidance along the way, @GerryMatalon for his coaching and pushing me to be fearless, Todd Snyder for his terrific producing on “NFL Insiders” and for his understanding of what I brought to the table, and to the other great producers and colleagues that I had a chance to work with over the 4+ years.

I loved every minute of it.

On to the next move(s)–stay tuned…

Caplan joins the likes of fellow NFL reporters Britt McHenry, Jarrett Bell, Ashley Fox, Tren Dilfer, Ed Werder and Paul Kuharsky.

He joined ESPN in 2013, but has covered the NFL for 15 years.

The hits keep on coming at ESPN.
