The NFL lays into Vontaze Burfict with another huge fine

This one is going to hurt the bank account.

Controversy emerged again this weekend for Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict, as video appeared to show him stomping on Patriots running back LeGarrett Blount. The stomps went uncalled in the game, but the NFL is now levying punishment in the form of a $75,000 fine.

Burfict also had a controversial hit on Patriots tight end Marcellus Bennett in the game, but it looks like that hit is going unpunished by the league.

The alleged stomping on Blount:

The is far from Burfict's first run-in with fines from the NFL. Burfict had several plays fined by the NFL last year, and it looks like his growing reputation as a dirty player isn't going to come to an end any time soon.
