The wrestling world is in mourning after another legend has passed away

Our thoughts are with his family.

Former wrestler and manager Jean Gagne, best known as Frenchy Martin, passed away Friday morning at the age of 69.

Most wrestling fans know Gagne from his time in WWE, first as a competitor, then as the monocle-wearing manager of Dino Bravo.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Gagne had been battling bladder cancer for more than a year before he was moved to hospice care in September.

Gagne traveled the world as a wrestler, becoming a star in Puerto Rico and North America, holding many titles in Canada and holding the North American championship in the famed Stampede Wrestling.
