These Power 5 teams will feast on cupcakes because they have the easiest schedules in the land

Someone open up the buffet, we've got a cupcake feast upon us!

Someone break out the buffet, it looks like a couple of teams will be feasting on cupcakes this year!

ESPN's Phil Steele compiled a ranking of teams by strength of schedule in 2016, and while we have already covered the teams at the top of the list, it is time to take a look at the teams that will have an easy go of it next season.

According to the ratings, which looks at teams based at the 2015 records of the 2016 opponents, Clemson has the easiest schedule of all Power 5 teams. The Tigers' 2016 opponents actually combined for a record under .500 in 2015, as those teams combined for just a 67-81 win-loss record. This will make things extraordinarily difficult for Clemson in 2016, as the national champion runner-up will likely have to hear about their easy schedule all year.

For what it's worth, Clemson had an above-average schedule in 2015, so that was not the reason why they were so successful in making the College Football Playoff.

The Top 5 worst schedules for Power 5 teams is ranked below. The number in parentheses is how the team ranks overall out of all 128 FBS squads.

1. Clemson (108)
2. Florida (103)
3. Boston College (T-101)
4. Maryland (T-101)
5. Baylor (90)
