Here’s a hit that should make all those in doubt about a girl playing high school football reevaluate their opinions.

It happened in a game between Pennsylvania’s North Penn High School and Central Bucks East Saturday when North Penn kicker Kelly Macnamara snuffed out a big kick return by lowering the boom on the unsuspecting return man. And forget the part about it being a girl that made the tackle. This gets filed under one of the season’s hardest hits.

The Knights won the game 33-17 to remain undefeated at 7-0. And Macnamara, the first female football player in North Penn school history, posted the jarring hit to her Twitter account.
