Well New England fans, there’s good news and there’s bad news.
The good news is: Tom Brady is now cleared to rejoin the team.
The bad news?
Then Patriots were shut out for the first time at home in 23 years, according to Elias Sports Bureau. The last time this happened was in 1993 against the Jets. For more historical context, it’s the first time since November 1937 that a team was shut out at home after shutting out a team the previous week, also at home.
New England fell to Buffalo 16-0, ironically ending the Patriots opportunity for another 16-0 record. I’m sure they’ll take the 18-1 record this time around if it comes down to it.
