The Florida State Seminoles are not experiencing the kind of success they were hoping for after they had to start a redshirt freshman quarterback in Deondre Francois. The defense has also taken an absolute beating with injuries and that's taken its toll on the team as well. However, the Seminoles have found a way to go 5-2 despite all that and that's more impressive than you might think.

FSU playing Ole Miss to start the season and playing in the ACC counts for a little more than three other undefeated teams playing their current schedule according to ESPN Stats & Info.

So when you say FSU should be better, consider that their schedule and opponents have been tougher than three teams that are currently undefeated and are being considered for the College Football Playoff.
