Tide teammates excited to have Tony Brown back in the secondary 'he brings the juice'

Four games into the 2016 season the Alabama secondary is banged up. Minkah Fitzpatrick was tested for a concussion and suffered a tough knee-to-helmet hit against Ole Miss, Ronnie Harrison was seen being treated in the Alabama medical tent during the Kent State game, and Eddie Jackson was so banged up before facing Kent State that Nick Saban didn't want to expose him to further hits and replaced him as the starting punt returner.

So it's understandable why members of the Bama defense are happy to get some help from defensive back Tony Brown, who is once again eligible after being suspended for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

"Tony will add some depth to the secondary," said Fitzpatrick. "He brings a whole lot of energy to the team, he's one of the fastest out there,"

Linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton said Brown "always has the juice" and that "Tony is a maniac." Hamilton also added "He's a guy who's made a lot of big plays for us, expect to see some big hits out of him this weekend."

Saban is still looking for Brown to earn the respect of the team and coaches after having been sent home from the playoffs last season. If Brown can do that and contribute it would be a huge lift for Bama secondary.
