Florida losing former Army All-American with latest transfer

Hopefully he finds the right place.

Sophomore running back Jordan Cronkrite has gotten a transfer release from Florida. The 6'0", 209-pound back didn't get a whole lot of touches this year with only 31 carries going for a touchdown and 145 yards. With freshman Lamical Perine, junior Mark Thompson and sophomore Jordan Scarlett ahead of him, it was probably the right move to make.

Cronkrite played in the 2015 U.S. Army All-American Bowl as a high school senior. Cronkrite has not taken a redshirt year so he will have three years to play two seasons when he transfers to his new school in January.
