Two-time NBA champion bolsters Oklahoma City Thunder ahead of playoff run

This is a nice pickup that adds depth.

After the Oklahoma City Thunder traded backup point guard Cameron Payne to Chicago, they had a void and needed another guard to backup Russell Westbrook.

According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the Thunder have signed former Miami Heat point guard Norris Cole for the remainder of the season.

Cole won two NBA championships with the Miami Heat in 2012 and 2013, and his last stop was with the New Orleans Pelicans during the 2015-16 season.

Cole has averaged 7.1 points, 2.8 assists and 1.8 rebounds per game for his career.
