No. 4 North Carolina showed exactly why it’s ranked so high in the polls this week. The Tar Heels absolutely beat down Oklahoma State 107-75. They had 51 points at halftime and clearly didn’t slow down at all on their way to shooting almost 60 percent from the floor and 47 percent from beyond the three-point line.
There were six players for UNC with double-digit scoring figures led by Joel Berry’s 24 points, three steals, four assists and five rebounds. Justin Jackson was close behind him with 22 points, six assists and eight rebounds. Isaiah Hicks and Tony Bradley each scored 13 points and Nate Britt chipped in 12 as the bench was emptied fairly early in the second half. All the walk-ons got some time and no one played more than 28 minutes.
