No. 18 Utah certainly didn't expect such a strong effort from two-loss Cal, but the Utes had a chance to win it as time expired.
With just three seconds left in the game, Cal had the ball at the one-yard line and tried to pound it in only to be stopped just short for the team's first loss of the season.
That's about as heartbreaking a loss as you can imagine, unless you play for/are a fan of Florida State or Georgia. In that case, you're probably just as sad, if not more sad.
