An arrest warrant was issued for Alabama safety Deionte Thompson last week, and a video allegedly captured Thompson and Rufus Joseph assaulting the victim.

According to court records obtained by the Decatur Daily, Thompson and Joseph were videoed kicking the victim, Noah Frillou, in the head until he was unconscious. Frillou also suffered multiple facial fractures.

The incident occurred over Spring Break in Crystal Beach, Texas on March 18. According to court records obtained by the Anniston Star and the Montgomery Advertiser, Frillou said the only thing he remembered from that day was going to the beach.

A female witness identified Thompson and Joseph as the assailants.

Thompson, 20, turned himself in to the police, and he was excused from practice to cooperate with authorities.

Thompson is a rising redshirt sophomore, and he mostly contributed on special teams as a redshirt freshman.

Alabama coach Nick Saban offered a brief comment and said he wouldn't address the issue until he had more information.
