The NFL playoffs kickoff this weekend and for the most part we'll have the brisk January weather we should.
The first Wild Card offering between the Oakland Raiders and the Houston Texans on Saturday will be the warmest of the bunch —- and that's not saying much. Temperatures at kickoff (4:35 pm ET) for that game are expected to be around 44 degrees.
But that's Houston. Saturday's second game between the Seattle Seahawks and the Detroit Lions in Seattle will be on the colder side of things. Kick off in that game (8:15 pm) is supposed to see temperatures around 37 degrees.

The traditionally frigid stuff to the point where it should impact the game will take place on Sunday. The Steelers and the Dolphins will kickoff at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh at 1:05 pm ET and temps there should hover around 19 degrees at kickoff. But, with an expected 11 miles per hour wind, it's going to feel like it's more like nine degrees. As a result, the warm weather Dolphins (it'll be hovering around 70 in Miami on Sunday) have taken some interesting measures to try to prepare.

And the best, which in this case means the coldest, will be the last game on the weekend slate: the Giants and the Packers in Green Bay. That game will kickoff at 4:40 pm ET with bone-chilling temps around 12 degrees expected, but the wind chill will make it feel like its one degree, and it won't improve much from that.
