It’s not terribly uncommon for fans of football teams to get into fights at games, but it’s usually rivalry games. Maybe a game like Michigan-Ohio State, Alabama-Auburn, Florida-Florida State or Texas-Oklahoma would be a ripe setting for something like that, but bowl games are usually pretty mellow.

Those kinds of games usually feature two teams that almost never meet and so the fan bases don’t have any hostility toward each other. For whatever reason, that was most certainly not the case in the Russell Athletic Bowl that was an ACC-Big 12 matchup featuring Miami and West Virginia.

A West Virginia fan with one leg and a shorter Miami fan start yelling at each other and the Mountaineers fan threatens to “take care of his business” on the Canes fans and then the Miami slaps the bigger man and runs off before he has a chance to take a hit. The WVU fan then yells a NSFW phrase at him as he runs off and it is all in the video above.
