Will Muschamp starts off South Carolina-Clemson rivalry with a bang at media event

The South Carolina-Clemson rivalry is one of the oldest rivalries in college football and so it naturally features plenty of bad blood and insults thrown around both ways. Clemson has won the last two games with the Gamecocks taking the last five before that.

Will Muschamp is just experiencing the rivalry for the first time and might have gone next level with some trash talk at a media event in Greenville. With Muschamp and Swinney on camera together, the Gamecocks coach gave Swinney a strong hand shake and then proceeded to tell him that his wife was hitting on him!

Dabo was clearly caught off guard, but did manage to come back jokingly with the line of "she's a flirt." Don't be surprised when Swinney decides to let his team stomp on the Gamecock's throat when they play the last weekend of November. The Tigers should be a much better team as Mushamp hasn't had the chance to go through a full recruiting cycle and Clemson has been poaching much of the talent in the state.

That might be the only laugh Muschamp gets at the expense of Swinney this season as the Tigers are expected to go back to the National Championship game and could very well go undefeated in the regular season again this year.
