With Brandon Harris off the market, one other major QB transfer has two leaders now

This would be a huge addition right away.

Brandon Harris was one of the more coveted graduate transfers on the market this offseason, but he's already been snatched up by North Carolina. The former LSU quarterback wasn't the only QB on the market though as Notre Dame transfer QB Malik Zaire was also available.

Scout's sources say that Texas has interest in Zaire, but he reportedly doesn't want to walk into a situation where he could be seriously competing for a spot. The source also said that the leaders for Zaire are Wisconsin and Florida right now.

In three seasons at Notre Dame, Zaire completed 58 of 98 passes (59.2 percent) for 816 yards with six touchdowns and zero interceptions while rushing 72 times for 324 yards (4.5 ypc) and two TDs.
