Yahoo Sports columnist predicts only 3 teams are capable of winning next year's national championship

Just three teams?

Ahead of next week's National Championship rematch between Alabama and Clemson, Yahoo Sports' Dan Wetzel discussed his bold predictions for next year and which teams thinks are capable of winning next year's national championship:

Despite Michigan, Ohio State and Penn State's late surge, Wetzel doesn't include any of the Big Ten teams here.

Alabama is fairly obvious as a true dynasty in college football. If they've got Nick Saban, they've got a chance to win.

Clemson may be one of the best set teams for future success in college football. The departing Heisman candidate Deshaun Watson will hurt, but Dabo Swinney has done some magic for the Tigers.

And an interesting inclusion here is Florida State, which loses running back Dalvin Cook, but keeps promising young quarterback Deondre Francois. The addition of Cam Akers, who some believe can compete for a Heisman trophy as a true freshman, could be enough of a boost.

Alabama against Florida State to open the season next year should be a doozy.
