Not so fast, angry Tennessee fans. Josh Dobbs is not as injured as you think

The hate is real for the Vols offense.

After a troubling performance against Appalachian State, Volunteers quarterback Josh Dobbs is taking some flak. The game went into overtime where Tennessee won 20-13. Most fans would say the game should have never been that close and the offense is mostly to blame for that. The defense also gave up almost 200 yards of rushing yards, but that's not what people are upset about.

Josh Dobbs struggled mightily in the game only throwing for 192 yards on 16-of-29 passing and almost gave the game away trying to be a hero on a potential touchdown and got gut checked and coughed up the ball only for Jalen Hurd to fall on it and secure the touchdown.

That hit was a tough one for Dobbs to take and there were rumors spreading around that he might not be available for the Battle at Bristol next week against Virginia Tech. However, he's here to put those rumors to rest and tell all the haters that he's here for the long haul.

Quinten Dormady is the backup QB right now and would have taken over for Dobbs should he have been too injured to play on Saturday.
