Why wasn’t this invented before I graduated college? This brilliant new invention called Slip Cup completely eliminates the use for water cups in beer pong, the popular drinking game enjoyed by college students across the country. One of the grosser aspects of the game though is the fact that the ping pong ball lands directly into the beer that you have to drink — and often times that same ball has landed on the dirty floor countless times before it landed in your cup. But now with Slip Cup, a small cup is placed inside the beer cup and sits over the beer — catching the ball before it lands in your beverage. Their product is on Kickstarter, in an effort to raise money to pitch it to major retailers. So far they’ve got close to $28,000 of their $70,000 goal. Shoutout to these inventors — five buddies from Connecticut — for this.
