It's been a rollercoaster few weeks for quarterback Johnny Manziel. The former Heisman Trophy winner was released from by the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League for being "unable to abide by the terms" of his CFL contract. Then, he signed with the AAF's Memphis Express a few weeks later in an attempt to make one final run at an NFL career. During that time, Manziel and his wife, Bre Tiesi, separated after she claimed Manziel "betrayed" her and broke their wedding vows. If that wasn't enough, now he's hurt, too.
Manziel left his second AAF game with a head injury against the league-leading Orlando Apollos over the weekend. Moments after his first touchdown pass was waived off for offensive pass interference, Manziel tossed an interception, then took a vicious knee to the head from Will Hill III while trying to make a tackle. Manziel was visibly struggling as he left the field, needing help to walk to the locker room. He did not return as the Express would lose, 34-31.
Despite how serious Manziel's injury looked, his head must have been clear enough to make another horrible choice.
Manziel was captured by TMZ Sports going into Nightingale Plaza — a West Hollywood nightclub — early Monday morning around 1 a.m. For someone with a colorful past filled with terrible decision-making who's trying to convince NFL teams he's on the right track, this isn't a good look.

The former 22nd overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft missed the Cleveland Browns' final game of the 2015 NFL season with a concussion. Instead of receiving treatment and being with his teammates, Manziel decided to have dinner and gamble at a Las Vegas casino the night before their last game and missed a scheduled check-in with the team the following morning.
Manziel was infamously released by Cleveland on March 11, 2016 and hasn't returned to the NFL since.

Manziel has received support from many people that his past issues with partying are under control, but recently, those endorsements don't exactly look like they're entirely true.
Details of Manziel's break up with Bre Tiesi are scarce, but the quarterback from Tyler, Texas has publicly addressed the couple's split after just one year of marriage.
"This is all very, very personal and very sad," Manziel told TMZ Sports. "I appreciate everyone who has been so supportive of both of us and I would just ask that everyone respect our privacy at this difficult time."
Tiesi, an Instagram model with over 350,000 followers, wiped all traces from Manziel from her social media pages back in March, then responded to numerous comments with cryptic messages about why the two split. In response to one person, Tiesi said, "u been married? U been betrayed? I don't do betrayal for a person I was devoted to period. Vows were broken f— money and f— u and every other loser on here."
Manziel had the raw talent coming out of Texas A&M to be a legitimate NFL starter. He buried himself in bad choices and partying, which have effectively ended any future football career in the National Football League. After this run of bad publicity and limited action in the AAF, it certainly seems like he's content being what he's proven time and again as a professional quarterback.
He's nothing more than a below-average bust.
