A former Clemson and Citadel baseball player and his friend have pleaded guilty to federal drug charges after DEA agents seized money and property valued at nearly $2 million, most of which was buried on his family's South Carolina farm.

According to a New York Daily News report, Bradley Lewis Felder, 27, and Everette "Rhett" Carter Berry plead guilty to charges that include conspiracy to possess and intent to distribute a drug called "molly," and at least 110 pounds of marijuana.

Agents reportedly began watching the two men back in 2013 when they were importing high-grade marijuana and molly. Nine packages of molly, each containing a kilogram, and $150,000 in cash were intercepted from Felder during the investigation.

During the course of the investigation, authorities also discovered that Felder rented various apartments and houses in and around Richland and Lexington counties for the express purpose of receiving shipments of marijuana and molly, according to a report in the thetandd.com. The shipments came from unknown sources in Northern California and China, the report said.

Felder reportedly paid friends, including Berry, to accept the drug deliveries, sometimes paying with cash and other times with marijuana.

He was subsequently arrested on Aug. 31, 2015 in the parking garage at Williams Brice Apartments near the University of South Carolina football stadium in Columbia, according to police. In the bust, police recovered $1,481.90 in cash, cell phones, a loaded .45 caliber pistol, and two watches valued at over $11o,000 combined.

In February, investigators seized a bag containing $1, 768, 031 in cash buried on his family's farm. Berry and Felder, who was an outfielder at The Citadel for three seasons, then transferred to Clemson in 2012, face up to 20 years in prison and/or a fine of $1 million.
