Texas and Oregon State squared off in their first game of the College World Series regional round on Friday. Beaver shortstop Caleb Hamilton had himself a pretty nice hit and one that should have gone over the fence, but Texas' Zane Gurwitz had other plans.
That's an act of great timing and jumping, but it wasn't enough for Texas as the Longhorns ended up losing 5-4 anyway. Texas was sent to the loser's bracket and will play Dallas Baptist, but if it's any consolation, the play did make it up to No. 2 on the SportsCenter Top Ten.
