AP Poll Week 4: Shaken not stirred

The AP Poll saw some serious shake up this week with six teams dropping from the rankings and two more moving up more than 10 spots. Kentucky stays No. 1, but the Wildcats were not unanimous with Michigan State and Maryland receiving some first-place votes.

Xavier moved up 11 spots to 12 while Syracuse moved up 12 spots to 14 from previously outside of the rankings. Miami had a six-spot drop after dropping a tough game to Northeastern at home. Arizona fell eight spots after losing to Providence in the Wooden Legacy tournament.

There are some of the Power 5 conference challenges coming up this month as as well as classic out-of-conference rivalries we’ll get to see so expect a lot more change before the conference season gets going. With all of the early season upsets, March Madness feels like it’s just around the corner.
