No. 24 Colorado State came into its Mountain West opener against New Mexico with a 14-0 record, but anything can happen in conference. And it did. The Rams lost to the Lobos 66-53. The Rama trailed by nine at halftime and shot just 33% from the field. Not only did CSU shoot poorly, but the Lobos were able to hit 51% of their shots for the game. Colorado State was one of three previously unbeaten teams that lost Saturday, along with Villanova and TCU.
