Frank Kaminsky sweeps significant POY awards

Frank Kaminsky has already won the AP National Player of the Year and now he can add the Wooden Award to his display. Nearly 1,000 people voted on the award. Duke’s Jahlil Okafor finished second in the voting with Willie Cauley-Stein coming in third. Kaminsky was also named the CBSSports.com National Player of the Year thanks to averages of 18.8 points, 8.2 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.5 blocks per game this season. He still has a chance to win the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award as well that ESPN will give out Friday night at its College Basketball Awards Show.
