Hot-shooting Miami found itself shooting in some cold conditions when Green Bay came to town Saturday. After winning its first eight games and achieving its highest rank this early in the season, the Hurricanes dropped this one at home 68-55. The Canes shot about 33% from the field and only 25% from the field.

Normally, point guard Angel Rodriguez is a pretty liable player, but he went an atrocious 2-of-15 from the field and played all but five minutes in the game. The only two guys to play well for Miami were Sheldon McClellan and Deandre Burnett who went a combined 15-of-32 from the field and had 37 of the team’s 55 points. This is a Miami team that had beaten two ranked teams in Florida and Illinois, but couldn’t get past the mid-major that is the Green Bay Phoenix and won’t really play tough competition until the ACC schedule starts up in January.
