The Clemson Tigers are learning something you wouldn’t expect

Keep those elbows off the table young man. And, take off your hat when you’re in the house.

Every football team has its rites of passage for freshmen, but the Tigers are trying something completely different. They’re learning proper etiquette and manners. All freshman go through the program designed to make them better people off the field.

Clemson caught all the good stuff on camera and was kind enough to share with the world. This is an idea more schools could use in teaching their student-athletes how to live in the real world and prepare for them adulthood. They’ll need these skills when they go to dinner business meetings and even when they are going on a date. Good on you Clemson for teaching the kids something valuable outside of football.
