Florida State’s 2016 class has lost a member of its class on Tuesday, as three-star defensive end Keir Thomas (6-foot-2, 250 pounds, Miami, Fla.) verbally decommitted from Florida State. The news was first reported from 247Sports, and Thomas gave some insight on the decision. He added that his new leader is Auburn, with Miami being close behind.
“I feel like FSU doesn’t want me anymore,” Thomas told 247Sports recently. “I don’t hear from them at all unless coach Tim Brewster down or something like that. They never call or text.”
The Seminoles now have 17 players committed to its 2016 class, which is ranked third in the country behind LSU and Ohio State.
