Florida State hosts recruit, serves him crab legs

When hosting recruits, top-tier teams roll out the best they’ve got. They want to show off the best food, the best facilities and elite play against the best opponents.

So when Florida State held offensive lineman Matthew Burrell out of Woodbridge, Va. on an official visit last weekend, the Seminoles made sure the best food spread was out as the team took on Clemson.

That happened to be one of the most memorable parts for the recruit, according to

“One of the best parts of the visit was the food with the crab legs,” Burrell said.

Crab legs were an interesting choice for Florida State to serve because, in case you somehow missed it, Jameis Winston stole crab legs from a local Publix in April.
