Florida State may have the inside track on flipping highly-coveted 4-star S Maleik Gray

We should know his decision soon.

Maleik Gray is currently committed to Tennessee, but the Florida State Seminoles may have an inside shot at flipping the No. 7 safety in the country.

While in Orlando for the Under Armour All American game, Gray noted that he's 95 percent committed to Tennessee, but he's taking a visit to Florida State that could change everything.

The Tennessee native said he models his game after former FSU standout Jalen Ramsey, currently works out with Ramsey's father, is eager to take a visit to Tallahassee where he'll check out the campus and see how comfortable he is around the coaching staff.

Despite offers from Alabama, Auburn, LSU, Louisville, Michigan, Ohio State and plenty of others, Gray noted the decision is down to just FSU and Tennessee, and it's one he thinks about "every day."

We should know soon, as Gray said if the visit doesn't go well, he'll make a firm commitment to Tennessee and that'll be where he goes. If it does go well though, he'll wait until National Signing Day, where he'll decide between the two schools.
