Jessie Warren has already gone down as one of the best softball players in Florida State Seminoles history. FSU fans will never forget her famous diving catch that helped the 'Noles win their first national championship in 2018.
Pair that with the fact that the third baseman ended her four-year career owning the FSU and ACC records for home runs (83), RBIs (273), runs scored (229) and slugging percentage (.820) and it's fair to say she deserves a statue outside JoAnne Graf Field in Tallahassee.

Two years after winning the NCAA Women's College World Series Most Outstanding Player award, Warren is still playing the game she loves.

Warren is only two years removed from wearing the garnet and gold. Now she wears a different set of colors.
After her NFCA All-American career wrapped up at FSU, she was selected seventh overall in the 2018 National Pro Fastpitch Draft by the USSSA Pride in Viera, Florida.
The best part about that is that she wound up sharing a dugout with some of her fierce college rivals. Former Florida Gators like Aleshia Ocasio and Amanda Lorenz are also on her team.
Warren put the rest of the NPF on notice just last year. The infielder hit .298 with five home runs and 23 RBIs in 114 at-bats. She was named the 2019 Rawlings Gold Glove Winner and earned her first All-NPF Selection.
The 24-year-old likely hasn't made major dollars in pro softball, a sport whose athletes are severely underpaid and take home what MLB bat boys do.
However, according to Warren's team bio, she also worked as a high school coach at Berkely Prep in Tampa, Florida. She's from Tampa and originally attended Braulio Alonso High School.
Warren at least appears to have some sponsorship deals. In one Instagram post, she's partnered with Firsty Athlete bats.
The USSSA Pride didn't renew their partnership with the NPF and many former college softball stars like Warren joined a new six-week professional league, Athletes Unlimited, in March before the coronavirus pandemic and COVID-19 outbreak. That meant Florida State fans missing Jessie Warren could still watch her crush home runs on TV.

According to ESPN, Athletes Unlimited is unlike any professional league fans are accustomed to. It uses a "new scoring system that did away with set rosters, replaced by weekly draft, and highlighted individual champions."
"It has been amazing since I've been here from day one," Warren told CBS13 CBS Sacramento. "I've been having the time of my life especially with 55 other strong female athletes. Just being around them they've been a light to my life right now, so it's been a great experience so far."
Jessie Warren finished with a .510 batting average and more "points" than any other hitter in the league.
