Yet another Alabama defender has announced decision to transfer

Alabama has had to deal with a lot of transfers this offseason.

Alabama has been dealing with a lot of transfers this offseason, and it looks like another one hit on Wednesday.

After three years in Tuscaloosa, former four-star defensive tackle O.J. Smith announced on Instagram that he would be transferring.

"I want to thank The University Of Alabama for being home to me for the last 3 years," Smith said in the post. "After talking with My family and Coach Saban I have decided to transfer and Open up Recruiting."

Originally a four-star of the 2014 class, Smith was mostly a reserve for Alabama. The 300-pounder only recorded two tackles in his career, and it looks like he will be moving on in hopes of more playing time with a new squad.

Smith originally picked Alabama over Mississippi State back when he was a recruit. He was rated as a four-star by ESPN.
