Another school has reportedly been eliminated from the P.J. Fleck coaching race

Fleck is 13-0 with Western Michigan this season.

Could P.J. Fleck actually stay at Western Michigan? It looks like it is closer to becoming a reality.

After being removed from consideration from the Oregon head coach position, CBS is now reporting that Fleck is also not in the running for the Cincinnati job opening due to lack of interest on Fleck's end.

Fleck's representatives told Cincinnati officials the coach wants a Power Five job to the point he wouldn't speak to the Bearcats' hierarchy. "P.J. is not in play here," a Cincinnati official said.

Cincinnati is searching for a new coaching after Tommy Tuberville resigned after four seasons on Sunday. Cincinnati is one of the top jobs among the Group of 5 schools, but as it stands now, Fleck is going to the Cotton Bowl as Western Michigan's head coach. He is already a hot coaching candidate, and it doesn't really make sense for him to go to Cincinnati and rebuild the program for a couple of years.

Looks like Fleck could be waiting around in Kalamazoo for another year on the coaching carousel. And with Western Michigan having the top recruiting class in the MAC for four years running under Fleck, they should have another good season.
