Another SEC title contender down to just two recruits following decommitment

The 2018 class suffered another blow.

Georgia's meager 2018 recruiting class just got thinner.

Donovan Georges, a 3-star linebacker from South Florida, has decommitted from the Bulldogs.

In speaking to Dawg Nation, Georges cited "fit" for his decision.

"I sat with my coach and we started to look at the successful linebackers at Alabama and UGA and their size and styles. I feel like I was not fitting the mold," he told Dawg Nation.

He said that he feels his style of play is better for the 4-3, and not the 3-4 Georgia plays.

Georges, a 6-foot-1, 225 pounder,  said he hasn't decided which schools he'll look at now. He's the 27th-best inside linebacker prospect in the class of 2018.

Georgia now only has two prospects signed for the class of 2018 —   3-star CB prospect Chris Smith II and punter Jake Camarda.
