Fox Sports' too early top 25 is one of the most questionable lists out there

FSU ahead of Clemson? Ole Miss in the top ten? What is going on here?

It's never too early to start listing the top 25 teams in college football for 2016. At least not for Fox Sports. It looks like the folks making up the lists have some researching to do though. There are some questionable decisions here as both Ole Miss and Tennessee have been placed in the top ten and somehow FSU is ahead of Clemson despite not having decided on a quarterback.

Here's the list in its entirety:

1. Alabama
2. Florida State
3. Clemson
4. LSU
5. Michigan
6. TCU
7. Oklahoma
8. Tennessee
9. Ohio State
10. Ole Miss
11. Stanford
12. Baylor
13. Notre Dame
14. Houston
15. Michigan State
16. Washington
17. Georgia
18. North Carolina
19. Washington State
20. Louisville
21. USC
22. Oregon
23. Florida
24. Iowa
25. Texas A&M

Of course the current national champ is at the top, but the rest of this list is somewhat questionable. Ohio State has its quarterback and that's big, but lost a ton of talent on the defensive side of the ball. Tennessee has higher expectations this season and should be a better team, but to start top ten might be a bit ridiculous.

Outside of the top ten, most of this list is pretty solid. All in all there are seven SEC teams, five ACC teams (if you count Notre Dame's half-ACC schedule), four Big Ten teams and five Pac 12 teams. 2016 should be an exciting season and hopefully there are a ton of twists to come in the form of upsets and crazy plays!
