Kansas survives Horned Frog attack in the Phog

No. 1 Kansas (15-2, 4-1) got an unexpected battle from TCU (9-8, 1-4) at the Phog as the Jayhawks were able to hold on to their lead in the second half for a 70-63 win. Kansas went to halftime with a nine-point lead, but was outscored in the second half 35-33.

Kansas had a balanced scoring attack though with five players scoring in double figures. Perry Ellis, Frank Mason, Devonte' Graham, and Carlton Bragg all scored 10 points while Wayne Selden had 11. Kansas kept TCU to 37 percent shooting from the floor and had 17 assists on 26 made shots.
