Kansas survives Texas Tech run late in Lubbock

Texas Tech (11-3, 1-2) had No. 1 Kansas (14-1, 3-0) on the ropes in Lubbock, but couldn't quite finish the job. A fairly balanced scoring attack from the Jayhawks helped them down the stretch to get a nice 69-59 win. Frank Mason and Perry Ellis were the only ones in double figures with 17 and 15 points respectively. No one else scored more than nine points.

Both teams shot fairly poorly at only a 41 percent clip. Hitting 9 of 22 three-pointers will help the cause just like Kansas did and only let the Red Raiders shoot 25 percent from beyond the arc. The Jayhawks next play at West Virginia on Tuesday night.
