Kansas takes care of K-State in Big 12 Tourney

Kansas is one step closer to winning the Big 12 conference title too.

Kansas (28-4) played Kansas State (17-16) in the Big 12 quarterfinals and got a relatively easy 85-63 win. The Jayhawks will face Baylor on Friday in the semifinals and it will be the seventh time Bill Self has gotten to the semis of the Big 12 Championship tournament.

Perry Ellis led the Jayhawks with 21 points and was followed by Frank Mason's 16 points and seven assists on the day. Devonte' Graham had 11 points and eight assists while Carlton Bragg had 12 points off the bench. Kansas shot 55.7 percent from the floor and kept K-State to 38.7 percent to get the huge win.
