Naismith Trophy names four finalists

The NCAA has announced its four finalists for the Naismith Trophy given out to the best player in the country each year. We all know LSU’s Ben Simmons isn’t winning the Wooden Award, but he’s also not on this list either. Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, Kentucky’s Tyler Ulis, Virginia’s Malcolm Brogdon and Michigan State’s Denzel Valentine.

Brogdon averaged 18.5 points and four rebounds per game, Hield averaged 25 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, Valentine averaged 19.2 points, 7.8 assists and 7.6 rebounds per game, and Ulis averaged 17 points, 7.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds per game standing at 5’9″.
