Oklahoma ends up on wrong side of Final Four history in epic beat down

This was just nasty.

Villanova put on a clinic in a Final Four game like we have never seen before. The Wildcats seemingly couldn't miss and shot a ridiculous 71.4 percent from the floor on the way to a 95-51 victory. The hustle never stopped for Villanova and that propelled the Wildcats to 53 second half points. That was more than the Sooners scored in the entire game!

The game was so out of hand and the margin of victory was so large that Oklahoma ended up being on the wrong side of Final Four history.

This pretty much summed up the entire for Oklahoma.

Josh Hart was the catalyst for this team with 23 points with eight rebounds and four assists, Kris Jenkins chipped in 18 points and Ryan Arcidiacono had 15 points as well. Villanova has just been a hot shooting team all tournament and can make some more history in the title game against the winner of the Syracuse-UNC game.

Buddy Hield was held to nine points on 4-of-12 shooting for the game and that was really how Villanova got the win. They didn't let the best scorer in the tournament get going and made other Sooners try to beat them.
