Top 8 shooting guard narrows down list of schools to four

I wouldn't have thought that school from the ACC would have made it on the list.

Chaundee Brown is a four-star shooting guard out of The First Academy in Orlando, Florida. He's a strong 6'5", 210-pound guard who boards the ball well for his size and gets to the rim almost at will. He guards on the perimeter well and his body is more than ready for college. He knows it and that's why he's narrowed down his list of 10 offers to four schools.

It looks like he's got his mind on four of the five Power Five conferences, but some unlikely schools in each one —- with the exception of Kansas. While most high level recruits would want to go to Kentucky in the SEC, Brown has the hometown Gators on his list and the Terps of Maryland in case he wants to enjoy some cold winter weather. Wake Forest is also an interesting choice for the ACC as there are plenty of good programs that aren't UNC or Duke, but maybe he wants to follow in the footsteps of Chris Paul.

Brown is ranked as the No. 8 shooting guard in the class of 2017 by 247Sports and the No. 3 player in the state of Florida. 247 also has him as the No. 44 player in the country.
