After 13 weeks of hard-fought battles, season-ending injuries and heroic come from behind victories, the College Football Playoff has its final four teams. After a wild Conference Championship Saturday, the CFP Selection Committee had a lot of questions to answer, not only with the top four teams advancing to the semifinals, but also where to rank the rest of the top 25.
But, while we don't mean to disrespect the latter 21 teams in the top 25, what we all really care about is who will be playing in the Peach Bowl in Atlanta and in the Fiesta Bowl in Arizona. So let's dive into to the four teams playing for college football's top prize.
No. 1 Georgia Looking to Repeat as National Championships

The Bulldogs 2021 National Championship win over Alabama might have been their breakthrough moment, but this past season has been Georgia's coming out party as a true force to be reckoned and the new kings of the SEC. With Stetson Bennett continuing his incredible story as UGA's signal-caller and head coach Kirby Smart keeping his defense in fighting shape after losing stars to the NFL, the Bulldogs have been No. 1 for quite a while and for good reason. The Bulldogs have the experience and the talent to repeat as National Champions, a feat that is two wins away for "the Boys from Athens."
No. 2 Michigan Has the Chance to End a 25-Year Title Drought

Jim Harbaugh has proven that 2021 was not a fluke and that Michigan football is back in a big way. After not naming a starting quarterback until a few weeks in, the Wolverines have shown that they are the a cohesive team firing on all cylinders. With JJ McCarthy under center and Donovan Edwards picking up the slack after Blake Corum's injury, the Wolverines offense has propelled the Big 10 powerhouse to the position they're in. This team didn't seem capable of walking into Ohio Stadium and punching the Buckeyes in the mouth the way they did. But with that signature win in hand, the Wolverines are ready to head to the Fiesta Bowl and make a push to win their first national championship since 1997.
No. 3 TCU Continues Their Magical Run

At the beginning of the 2022 College Football Season, no one cared about the TCU Horned Frogs. Week after week, Sonny Dykes' team has impressed, improved and become one of the best stories in college sports in the last few years. With Max Duggan coming out of a nine-hour heart surgery, losing the starting job, to leading this TCU to the Big 12 championship against Kansas State, it's clear this team is playing with something other than purpose and talent. There's an air of destiny about this team. Sure, they dropped a tight game to Kansas State in the Big 12 championship, but it's clear that TCU is one of the best teams in the country. This Horned Frogs team runs on heart and they have plenty to spare.
No. 4 Ohio State Sneaks Back in from Their Couch

In the words of Buckeyes wideout Emeka Egbuka, it's "Get Back Time" for Ohio State. After dropping their final game of the season to arch-rival Michigan at home in Columbus, Ohio State was left wondering if they had stepped into a time machine and went back to last year. However, unlike last year, Ohio State only had to wait six days to see their way back into the playoff picture. With USC's crushing loss to Utah in the Pac-12 championship, Ohio State became the clear choice to replace the Trojans. However, there's certainly some controversy as Alabama landed in the No. 5 spot, with a resume that may seem more deserving to some fans. However, with USC falling to Utah for the second time, Ryan Day's Buckeyes are back in the College Football Playoff with a gigantic chip on their shoulder.
