Former Kentucky guard finds new home in the Big Ten

IiFormer Kentucky guard Charles Matthews announced pretty early into the offseason that he would be transferring out of the program and it’s taken until now to see where he would land. It looks like he will be headed to Big Ten country and will sit out a year per NCAA transfer rules.

Matthews appeared in all 36 games and averaged 1.7 points, 0.4 assists, 1.6 rebounds and shot 44.2 percent from the field in his freshman season in Lexington.
