Maryland avoids upset thanks to Melo Trimble’s crazy three

In the short time that Maryland has been in the Big Ten the Terrapins have not gotten along with Wisconsin. They were in Madison to play the Badgers for the first time this season and kept it a little closer than they would have liked. With the score tied at 60-60 and the Terps seemingly about to give the game away, Melo Trimble came to the rescue.

The Terps had just given up two triples and it looked like they were going to give up for overtime, but Trimble had other plans. He wanted to get out of there and go home.

This is why Trimble is in the discussion for Player of the Year and is going to be a highly coveted guard in this year’s NBA Draft should he decide to declare.
