Nation's top shooting guard not taking any more visits, could decide early

That should get the ball rolling with other recruits.

Gary Trent Jr. is the top rated shooting guard in the class of 2017 and the No. 8 ranked overall player according to ESPN. He's taken a few official visits and has decided that that's enough.

Michigan State, Duke and UCLA are his top three choices right now and he hinted at a possible early decision coming.

"We've got the early period coming up and it's possible that I could decide by then, but I'm not sure," he wrote in his USA Today blog. "We'll have to see."

The 6'5", 200-pound guard out of Minnesota has been rumored to be a package deal with big man Wendell Carter, but the only common school they share is Duke so it's not exactly probable that they go to school together.
