Despite top four list, nation's No. 1 WR Terrace Marshall brings one major program back into the fold

This is curious.

Terrace Marshall is the top receiver in the country and he was originally down to four schools in his recruitment a while ago. He spoke to 247Sports after The Opening in Oregon and confirmed that he's brought back a fifth school and major player in his recruitment that could prove to be quite crucial.

His initial top four were LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Miami with no TCU in sight despite the Horned Frogs believed to be recruiting him hard and him to be high on them as well. Fortunately for them, Marshall said they're definitely still in the race.

Marshall's high school teammate and four-star quarterback Justin Rogers is committed to TCU so naturally he's trying to get the 6'2", 192-pound receiver on campus with him. Marshall is ranked as the top receiver in the country by the 247Sports Composite Rankings and the top recruit in the state of Louisiana.

Marshall also holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Oregon and Tennessee among several other powerhouse programs. The 247Sports crystal ball has 14 predictions for him with 12 of them belonging to in-state LSU and the other two split between the Aggies and TCU.
