Florida linebacker makes decision regarding 2016 NFL Draft

Jarrad Davis finished second on the team in total tackles during the 2015 season.

One of Florida's leading tacklers during the 2015-16 season has made his decision for what he's doing for the 2016 season. Junior linebacker Jarrad Davis announced via his Twitter account that he would be in fact returning for his senior season in 2016. Davis finished second on the team in total tackles with 98 last season, and 46 of those were solo tackles.

This is a big return for Florida's defense — the unit loses a ton to this year's NFL Draft including defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard, All-American cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III, safety Keanu Neal and linebacker Mike Taylor.
